Why can?t I find the LiMAN Smart Licensing Manager ?

Troubleshooting Steps

The User-added image button is only accessible once you have successfully activated your Smart Licensing capable product via the hyperlink in your Support Product Activation (SPA) email (look for ?License and Activation? in the subject line).

Note: The LiMAN - Smart License Manager is used only for controllers that use Smart Licensing.

If you are unsure what type of licensing your controller uses see KB article # 000003971 - What type of Licensing does my controller use ?

Preparation : If you have not yet done so test your Ruckus Support account by logging in to https://support.ruckuswireless.com/

Once you have verified your Ruckus support account follow these steps : 
  1. Open your SPA License and Activation email and click the activation link found within it.
  2. Accept the Terms and Conditions and click Activate purchase
  3. When successful the User-added image button will appear.
  4. You should now be able to click the LiMAN button to view and manage licenses for your Smart License capable products !

Once activated using the procedure above the LiMAN button will remain accessible via the Ruckus Support website.

Workaround

If after following the resolution shown here you are still unable to successfully activate your product and access LiMAN please contact Ruckus Client Support and they can help resolve the issue.
