Try the below steps if ZoneDirector is powering-up and not responding:
1. If ZoneDirector is connected in the network then disconnect the ZoneDirector from the network and try to hard reset it.
2. Check whether the ZoneDirector is able to access on its default IP or not.
3. If ZoneDirector is not able to access/ping on its default IP then check the LED status on the ZoneDirector.
3. If ZoneDirector is not able to access/ping on its default IP then check the LED status on the ZoneDirector.
3. If LED status is RED or Completely off then the unit need to be replaced.

If ZoneDirector is not able to power-up then try to power-up the ZoneDirector with different power adapter/power chord. Even after checking with different power source and the ZD is not powering-up then the unit need to be replaced.
